Well at least I've learned something here Jackie. When sending via mobile phone does one still have to do the punctuation comb inations or is there an icon one can use for speed?

Hi Eleanor

One says "smiley face" and the other one says "sad face". I think they
are the only ones TALKS says though. I think they are great myself.

What does your Eloquence say then Jackie when it is a smiling face and
when
it is a miserable one?

Andy, that's interesting. What voice are you using on your phone? I
ask because someone asked me the very same question recently. She is
using Daniel on her phone, and doesn't get the faces announced, only
punctuation that is correct for the smiley or sad faces. I use the
American Eloquence on mine, and it's always worked a treat.

Just a thought.

Jackie - Seems like I've missed a trick here! Talks Doesn't announce
"smiley face" etc when :) etc are used, either in a message I create,
or
one that is sent to me! Have I missed something? -

Andy

| Hi Andy and James
|
| As far as I can tell, colon, dash and right parenthesis is a smiley
| face, while colon, dash and left parenthesis is a sad face. If I
also
| do just a colon and right parenthesis or colon and left parenthesis,
| TALKS still announces smiley face and sad face respectively, so I'm
not
| sure if there is a distinction on the phone's display between the
two
| types of smiley and sad face. But whatever they are, and however
you
do
| them, I adore them!! (smiley face). How do you make them in an
Email
| message though?

| Hi Andy,
| :) is a smily face, :-) is a big smily face, :( is a sad face, and
:-(
| is a big sad face. I think that's correct, other people can correct
me
| if I'm wrong.
