Roger and others, this sort of continual disk defrag offered by
Diskeeper is just one more way of keeping our computers up to speed,
which with screen readers hogging some resources as well as other
running apps, has to be a good thing. It helps with any hard disk
intensive work, such as audio editing.

My partitions tend to be no more than 20GB and the longest Diskeeper
took, when first installed, was not much more than five minutes to
defrag the C: drive where I have mostly Windows and a few OS related
apps installed. Once initially defragged no more waiting around, it
is just automatic, which is what you are paying for.

I downloaded a trial of Diskeeper early this morning and so far it's
working
brilliantly with Supernova 6.27 (I think that's the one I've got) If
the
finished defrag is as good as it's looking they'll have another
customer
with me. Shame about my text to mp3 but I have some avenues to go
down so
may well get there.

Roger

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
