Best wishes to Barry and I hope he has a speedy recovery. I myself took a tumble over a station platform and was called a pratt by a certain Mr.Fowlaer for doing so. Brackets. Hope he never takes a tumble end Brackets. I found it quite a scary experience and it was ages before I was okay. I was a new guidedog user and found the insult quite upsetting. Thought there wouldbe more posts of well wishing and concern on this list than just the one from Carol. I hope Barry is okay and I wish him well for a speedy recoveryas such an event can be physically upsetting and quite frightful. One cannever approach a station platform again with the same confidence. The only good thing to come of this is that Strathclyde transport placed pebbled dimples on all platform edgings from then on. As I approach a platform now at helensburgh central and the rest of the line is that my fall and my subsequent difficult fight made a difference to blind travellers in our area.
