"they aren't going to have the same close relationship with the postal services enjoyed by the likes of Amazon." Not any more. Royal Mail and Amazon have parted company. A friend and I are stillwaiting for our copies down in flooded South Wales. I'm now very glad that I purchased the NBP download, and can hardly wait to begin reading the book with doubletalk on my Book Courier later :)! As yet, the download is not available - apparently it will be at Noon Eastern time in the US, which equates to 6 p.m. UK time as far as I can tell.Even though I'm turning slightly green with envy as I writethis, it's still good to hear that RNIB did all they could to get the books out to us, sending them out on Friday as agreed. at the end of the day they aren't going to have the same close relationship with the postal services enjoyed by the likes of Amazon.Enjoy the book!
