Hi SandraYes I've heard they are very heavy, and that's an absolute no-no for me anyway. I've now got myself to a level where I'm comfortable, and I don't intend jeopardising that for anything. I also like having things in the house I can use as well, rather than having to sit back and say I can't manage or whatever.
Thanks to all for your suggestions, very helpful indeed as always. Jackie Email: cairnsplace@xxxxxxx Skype Name: Cairnsplace----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra Henshall" <oceania@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Jacky,With a bad back, I'd say the Dyson's out for you. They're pretty heavy to shove around unless, of course, your other half would be doing the vacuuming. I don't know about not being as good as they're cracked up to be; I haven't had any problems with mine and they do seem to pick up what others leave behind but I can't use it for very long because of the back too. If you're thinking of buying one, I'd go to a shop and try pushing one around and see what you think.Cheers, Sandra. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
