My old cylinder vac is an Electrolux, and I must say I have always liked their products. I have tried a couple of small cleaners, but getting all the grime off the filters they use is a really disgusting business. My Electrolux has bags, and they are easy to lift out, tie the top and dump in a bin. Some of these bagless cleaners are not all they're cracked up to be. Interesting to hear about the two Dyson owner who wouldn't buy another one. I just can't get my head round this thing wandering round your house while you leave it to its own devices, then hear it return to the docking station. I don't think I'd ever buy such a contraption, but I'd sure as hell love to see it in demo form. We've currently got an Electrolux cleaner, and I think we'll probably go for something similar as it has served us well. Our lad reckons the Dyson Ball would be good for me because it's very lightweight, but I haven't come across it yet.
