Seems to me you need to take the whole package into account, with the line
rental and the 0906 phone calls (premium rate). I get most of my calls to my
ISP for a lot ess, in fact most are free 0800.
I'd also want to know about the quality of the telephony services. Any
hidden extras there?

apparently, according to telewest, whom i am with. if you cancel the telephony services from taqlk talk, the broadband service will be charged at £35 per month.
