Hi Mike.
There is an audio description button on your remote control, the one that came
with the TVonics recorder. Have you tried pressing this when on a channel you
know has an audio described program?

Hello,
Can anyone with the expertise of this machine tell me how to turn on the audio
description please?
I went into settings, accessibility and it is set to English and high volume.
The subtitles are English (hard of hearing) I do not need subtitles, but what
is difference between English and English (hard of hearing)?
It seems however the audio description is still not on.
