Eleanor, You will have the television tuned, but will have to turn over to a HDMI or Auxiliary channel to switch over to the TVonics. Be careful, as you will need to make sure you are viewing the TVonics output when you wish to record a programme by pressing the record button. I will get the audio assistance and AD set up for me when it is delivered. Now totally confused re the TVonics. If I tune that then is there a button or switch to change between the two because can't have 2 talking at once Lol! ----- Original Message ----- From: ANDY <mailto:Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> COLLINS To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2012 9:47 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: TVonics Hi Alfred - Got it set up, and all is good. It's good to have speech on both the TV, and the TVonics. It means I can watch the TV without the need for the TVonics to be on, I'll only need it when I record or watch a recording. Let me know how it goes for you with your new TV. Do you already have a TVonics? - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: Alfred King <mailto:alfredking10@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2012 7:18 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: TVonics Hi andy I am interested in how you are going to cope with the speech on your Panasonic along with the speech on your TVonics. Have decided to get the Panasonic 32 inch model, similar to yours. ----- Original Message ----- From: ANDY COLLINS <mailto:Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, November 06, 2012 7:13 PM Subject: [access-uk] TVonics Hi all - Have to give RNIB full marks for a speedy delivery. My order was processed yesterday, and the machine arrived today. The thing itself: Got it all set up fine and working. I haven't managed to pair it's remote with my Panasonic one, but it does say in the instruction that this might not work with some Panasonic models. I need to look a bit further in to this to make sure mine is one of those, cos it'd be nice to only have to use the one remote. Have to say I think the machine is very ugly in it's shape, and not at all a standard box that can form part of a stack, thankfully, I've enough shelf space on my TV stand to accommodate it's quirky contours! Looks like this is going to be a useful addition to my set-up. Going to make some test recordings etc, and see how things go. Thanks to all for feedback and set-up instructions etc - Andy
