Hi Jim, how would you be able to know what the lens was seeing? They've automated cameras a lot over the years, but you'd still need to know that the subject was properly in shot. I'll be interested to see what if anything people come up with.

I am after a digital camera that I can use myself and can get reasonable results by just pointing the camera.

I would also like this to be a camera that I can hand to a sighted person to take a picture. so I would like it to be fairly self explanatory to use by someone unfamiliar with the camera.
