I have learned 2 things about ATW today which I will now go and investigate
with my employer, but most of this comes down to the original thing that I
think Brendon stated (the paragraphs he listed earlier today on the original
thread) and the response he got , the majority of people who use ATW and
want to make use of it do not have a clue where they stand on anything ...
and yes is a general trend of bureaucrasy and I do not want a debate on this
as it is pointless, I am merely pointing out how it is with lists like this
that things are found out and that is a good thing. As I said, I know 2
things now that I didn't this morning, however, I shouldn't even have needed
to be told (and it's not until it happens, like the guy's BRLNote being
stolen that you think to ask these questions, or that you even think they
need asking), when you start a new job, especially your first, there is so
much else to think about that things like that just don't cross your mind,
I'm sure many of you are far more experienced in this than I am, and that is
good, but you can't just know something if it's never crossed your mind or
no one's ever told you, and you can't just expect everyone else to know what
you do either!
Hopefully it isn't just me who has found out things that they didn't know,
and that's what's valuable about this list.
