Hi Eleanor,

Select all of the text in your document with CONTROL + A
Go to the Tools menu and select spell check
Change the language to English UK
Tab to the Default button
Select this and when prompted if you want all new files based on the Normal template to use English UK, select OK.

This should solve the problem.

Subject: [access-uk] Spell check in Word 2003

I am doing a spell- check in Word 2003, it is set to English US. I have changed this via Tools, Language and changed it to English UK. Then I have set the default to English UK. However, once I start the spell-check having done this it is back at English Us. How can I change this please?

Thank you.

Eleanor
