[access-uk] Re: Sound Taxi

It makes sense but I'm not familiar with mp1 files. Do they appear in the
list of supported file types on the SoundTaxi website? I'd say the chances
are not because SoundTaxi converts protected WMA and MP3 etc files to
unprotected ones as opposed to obscure file types to more conventional ones.

Sunil - I originally was trying to split a file using Goldwave, but it
didn't like it's file type, which is an MPEG1.0 layer 1, according to it's
ID3 tag in Winamp. I thought I'd try using Sound Taxi to get it in to mp3,
and then go back to Goldwave for the split.

Does that make sense? -

Andy

| What format is the file in that you're trying to convert? You're doing the
| right thing so maybe SoundTaxi can't convert whatever format that file is
| in.

| Hi all -
|
| How do I start the conversion to mp3 from within Sound Taxi please? I
select
|
| the file to convert, then using the JAWS cursor, I click on convert, and
get
|
| the message launching, and after a short time, get the message "error,
| conversion wasn't started within 60 seconds." How do I get it to work?
|
| Thanks -
|
| Andy
