Thanks Alex, if you Google it, it will tel you that it is North West radio. There is an icon in top left and if you enter on that you get the options to listen to news in different areas, e.g. Sligo, Leitrim. enter on one of those and see if you get any sound. I need to use winamp to listen. I will not be listening live. It is not that big of a radio station but my nephew is a news reader on it and I would like to listen. The radio station is in Ireland and is called oceanfm.ie so if anyone would be kind enough to try it for me to see if you have any success. There is then an option to listen to various areas news, if you see what I mean. It's winamp opening when perhaps you need media player to open instead. to play the radio station's stream. Try going into windows media player, tools, options. Then go to file types tab and select play all button. Tab across to apply and then try going back to the radio station again. I'm presuming you want the listen live option. Try activating listen live again and see if the station plays. This worked for me. I don't know why winamp didn't do this for me when I expected it to. There may be some way that more experienced winamp users know of to play streams, but if I possibly can, I use media player for this. I did download and install the winamp as I thought this is what is required. I guess I just need to stop the windows media player from opening and get the windamp to open instead. How would I do this please?
