Hi Kevin I quite like the Breeze myself in that you can just walk your route and get information as you go without having to attend to it too much. The big round button is easy to identify in your pocket to get info, and while I agree it is a bit on the bulky side, and the fact the chipset is old, it is good for straightforward use. It is also great for adding landmarks like a specific road crossing or something meaningful to you. I am not a huge GPS user because our area is rural, and we are really surrounded by fields and trees unless we walk into what I would describe as a large village/small town. I daresay that if I ventured further afield, there would be a lot more purpose for it. Having said all that though, I like looking at various GPS apps and devices, and have to say I haven't seen anything outstanding about RNIB Navigator yet! I am also reading the guide and playing with it at the same time, but the wow factor isn't in it for me at the moment. Still, it's good to play, and the beauty of mobile apps is that they aren't too expensive, and indeed are often free. I agree about the breeze, I only wish they would put out a software version so i could put it on my android phone. Oh well can't have it all smile.
