I installed all of Office 2003 and then I raised the question on this list as I'd been told I could not have 2003 and 2007 on the one machine. As I recall you kindly sent mea link yourself George where it said it can be done but not recommended. I am not experienced enough with IT to take the risk.

What's the problem? Outlook 2003 will run alongside Office 2007 - even on Windows 7 if you wish! Now that is a pitty, I can imagine your pritty livid about it. Unfortunately although you can upgrade to Office 2010 providing you meet the criteria, you wont get outlook at home and student 2010 doesn't include it. Your best bet would be to wait a couple of months and then buy office 2010 when it hits retail shelves which I think will happen in September or October. All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, June 17, 2010 2:52 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Office 2010Unfortunately yes Ibrahim and I am absolutely furious about it andwouldnever have purchased if I had been aware of that at the time. Infact Iam livid with myself for letting the sallesman at Curry's talk me intoit. I would like to avail of this butIhave Office 2003 on my PC as I want the Outlook and it is notavailableon the Office 2007 which I purchased at the time I bought thelaptopwith Windows 7. I am suing Supernova so understand that youcannotadvise on other e-mail clients . Thing is I know Thunderbird andothersare accessable with Jaws but not with Supernova and then I'm backtothat old chestnut of not being able to run Supernova and Jaws onthesame computer. In any case, thanks for the very valuableinformationwhich I must pass on to my niece for whom I also purchased Office2007at that time.
