It helps a bit too to use your thumb against the raised edge of the
camera lens on the back of the handset while pushing in the catch with
your thumb.

Hi Marie,
Yes, it's quite easy to take out and replace the battery.  If you take
off the back cover by pressing the little catch at the bottom of the
phone and sliding the cover upwards, it should come off quite easily.
Then you'll find the battery.  It's pretty obvious where it is.  Then
just ease it out, wait about a minute and then just slot it back into
place and replace the cover.  I don't have any sight at all and I
managed it quite easily so you shouldn't have any problems.
