Just like to say Katheryn, agree with all that's just been said. I'm increasingly in the business of printing CD labels and sleeves and the Epson printer we use now uses six or seven different colours. this means that its much more economical in running costs, only having to replace the colour that's actually beginning to fade. I'm not suggesting you go as far as six-seven different colours, but cirtainly four, which would most likely include a separate dedicated black cargdrige. Quite a few of the Epsons seem to come out well in running costs in magazine reviews, but Im not suggesting Epson over all other makes here. Besides, printer models change almost as often as the weather, (smile). I usually like to see the physical unit, hence I go to Staples, PC World, etc., in person. However, I would strongly suggest you get a printer which has at least 4 separate ink tanks, black and three colours. HP for example are renowned for having one colour tank, so if you use one colour a lot and it runs out, you are throwing away good, and expensive, ink. Also, avoid printers which make black by using all three colours. It's never truly black, more of a gray, and again is expensive. George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Catherine Turner Sent: 06 October 2006 12:35 To: Access-UK Subject: [access-uk] New printer Hello, I need to buy a new printer and wonder a) has anyone got any suggestions of quick, easy websites to use; and b) any particular printers to get/avoid (I want to get a colour inkjet).
