Sorry to contradict here, but of the various FAT flavours, FAT 32 will certainly work with XP. In fact many systems are supplied with FAT 32 out of the box. That's why there is a FAT to NTFS conversion program supplied with XP.

hi it depends on what windows you are using. fat will not
work with windows 2000 or xp.
