Hi Douglas,

Like I say, this is one mother of a program. My boot up time has halved
because of it, and the machine is performing heaps better.

All the best

Thanks Steve. I just quoted two of them - there are 15 others, but
presumably what you say about the two applies to them all?

What worried me a little was whether a virus etc. could be lurking in one of
them and not be detected in the scan. Perhaps I am getting paranoid in my
old age!

Incidentally I was amazed how quickly my computer booted up this morning now
that Norton has gone and the full scan took only about 20% of the time it
did with Norton.

problem, it is just for your information.
