That's a relief, Sandra! I thought that it was something odd about my system. I might send my log file to the NOD32 Support team tomorrow to see if they have any comments though. Although a considerable number of my files are c:\windows\system32 like yours, I also have a number in c:\documents and Settings\ which is harder to understand In all other respects the switch from Norton to NOD32 went very smoothly and I am very pleased with it.
