Alexander - As far as I know, the Maps programme won't tell you if you've gone off course, or how close you are getting to your destination etc, but it does allow you to look at a route ahead of setting off. For example, I entered a familiar destination in my town, and it showed me which roads to take, and how far to walk before turning left or right. There is also a more info button which gave me the full address and phone number for the business I had set as my destination, and, an option to add it to an address book. Obviously, this thing isn't a dedicated access device for the blind, but non the less, still is of some merit, and comes pre-loaded -

Hi Andy,

This info sounds very interesting, as although I've
purchased a trekker Breeze, and am quite happy using it if I
need to return to somewhere I have saved as a landmark, I
find it annoying that I can't use a keyboard to put
addresses in to the breeze, so I may decide to look at
either an IPhone or an IPod touch in the future.

Out of interest, do you, or does anyone else know how easy
it is to enter addresses into an iPod touch or Iphone?
