daman, this seems to happen when you download the patch. I used the installation disk again to install jaws9 and then i could download the patch without a problem. i am using xp home as a matter of interest!

Cheers

Hi.

There is a new update for jaws available now - but but won't work for me. Has anyone else got it working?

I get an error message saying there is something wrong with my JAWS and that the new patch is uninstallable and so the setup process will close.

It suggests that I fix my current version of jaws before attempting to install the update.

How do I fix jaws? I remember there used to be a fix jaws utility in the sub menu where you select jaws from the programs menu. Only I can't see one there now.

I'm running windows vista.
