Hi WilliamOh dear, the course is obviously to become an expert XP pro user so a MAC wouldn't be any use.
Yes, I noticed that you have to complete assignments. Not sure what would be in them, but unless you do a lot of practical stuff, I think it doesn't really sink in. Reading theory is all very well, but you really do need to get in there and do practical tasks. Like I say the course is mostly geared to using XP pro and if you only have XP home then I imagine you are going to struggle to do a lot of the assignments.
Kind regards Darren.----- Original Message ----- From: "william lomas" <lomaswilliam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

the impression i get is read the books which are in PDF, and do the assignments, which are all writtenOn 30 Mar 2009, at 12:05, Darren Brewer wrote:I'm not actually doing the online course you are asking about, but was curious to see what was on the website. I am doing the MCDST course but at a local training centre in Birmingham. The course is 5 days, but obviously it takes a lot longer to do than that. There are lots of video's to watch and you get a manual . I have a PDF version of the book which makes the course material accessible. The other thing you need is a computer with XP pro on it so you can install Virtual PC 2007 as there are labs that you need to complete on virtual machines.** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq __________ NOD32 3974 (20090330) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
