Oh dear, the course is obviously to become an expert XP pro user so a MAC
wouldn't be any use.
Yes, I noticed that you have to complete assignments. Not sure what would
be in them, but unless you do a lot of practical stuff, I think it doesn't
really sink in. Reading theory is all very well, but you really do need to
get in there and do practical tasks. Like I say the course is mostly geared
to using XP pro and if you only have XP home then I imagine you are going to
struggle to do a lot of the assignments.

There are lots of video's to watch and you get a manual . I have a PDF
version of the book which makes the course material accessible.
The other thing you need is a computer with XP pro on it so you can

Virtual PC 2007 as there are labs that you need to complete on virtual
machines.
