David, The brailling of HSBC's statements is done by the RNIB. There have been some delays with these in the past, and I will find out for you tomorrow whether there have been any problems in the past few months arising from either the HSBC or RNIB end of things. As far as I know, RNIB do not braille anything else for HSBC. The six-monthly statements which detail holdings of all HSBC products, for instance, are produced by MPH. Hope that helps for now, Mark ----- Original Message ----- From: "David W Wood" <g3yxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 9:50 AM Subject: [access-uk] HSBC accessible format provision > Hello all > > I wonder if anyone else has been experiencing intermittent service in > the provision of Braille bank statements and other correspondence from > HSBC, in particular, since the beginning of this year. > > I am trying to establish if this is a general problem, or purely one in > respect of my affairs. > > Additionally, I wonder if anyone knows who produces the Braille for > HSBC? > > David > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
