Hi all,

I know nothing of freezer alarms, but it might be worth pointing out that
your household contents insurance would normally cover food ruined by a
defective freezer or by power failure.

It is always worth checking your policy.

We have one of those American style fridge freezers and both the fridge and
freezer have built in alarms but I don't think they'd work in a power cut.
