Hi David

I went into the App Store on my iPod Touch, then went to categories. I
got the English Dictionary and Thesaurus, World Fact Book 2011, and
Birds of Britain under the reference section. I bought Quick News UK
under the news section, and I think I bought Tune In under the music
category.

I was having a look at an app I could possibly try to get that would be
like Teletext, and came across one for 59p which gives Ceefax and some
foreign services. But they aren't compatible with VoiceOver, so I've
had to call that one a day I reckon. I have also downloaded a free TV
Guide which seems to be reasonably accessible, but I'm still fathoming
out how it works properly.

Kind Regards,

Hi Jackie,

Can you tell me where you got you apps from. I have tried itunes and the
apple shop, but I must be doing the wrong thing as I come up with
nothing.

Yes, I don't think the prices differ greatly. Living in a village,
going online is best for us, so it's as well to be the Apple store as
anywhere else, and their delivery service is very quick. I believe John
Lewis sell the Apple range, and everything with them carries a two-year
guarantee, so maybe that's worth considering. They will also give you
hands-on like the Apple store in all probability. I note with Argos
that anything with storage capacity doesn't carry a 30-day money back
guarantee, so if you buy and don't like, you would need a hard and fast
reason for returning it to them.

Hi Carol,

The price is very much the same where ever you buy the ipod. Thou before
Christmas Argos was selling the ipod touch 32 gb for £20 less that the
Apple store.

OK, I do understand that Brian but don't know exactly where they're sold
and was surprised to learn about Argos.

Is there much difference in price as you look around and any way of
finding the prices from these different stores, please?
