Flac is free lossless audio codec and can be played in Winamp 5.5. You can
also rip an audio CD of flac files with Nero 6. Burning flac files offers
the best possible sound quality, pretty much mirrors store bought CD's.
Really, the quality is superb. You might need the flac executable, but
installing this is easy.

Subject: [access-uk] FLAC File Extension

Hi All

I've received a music file in FLAC format. It seems this is a lossless file
compression but how does one convert it to WAV? I have CDex but no joy.
However it's an old version !.50 Would upgrading to the latest, which I
believe is 1.70, help?

Many thanks

Roger

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
