I think Lacie do a pocket drive which is pretty much what you are after,
capacity somewhere in the 80gig range. Most USB drives are pretty much the
same, there are only a few hard drive manufacturers which others then
re-package into whatever format. There are other portable drives of similar
type from other manufacturers I would think there is little to choose between
them.

Any recommendations for an external hard drive would be appreciated.
I want one that is powered from the USB port rather than having a power
supply you need to plug in as it's for use with a laptop. USB2 preferred
obviously, and capacity dependant on prices.
Models and where to buy would be excellent.
