Hi Derek - Yes, it is normal policy for the customer to pay to send goods back for repair etc, and this can prove costly, especially if insuring them as is often sensible to do. Of course,AFB labels can be used where appropriate -

Subject: [access-uk] Equpment warranty query

Hi all
If one buys as new, equipment such as a mobile phone, Braille
Note taker, embosser etc.
If the kit is under warranty, and becomes faulty and one has to
Send it away, is it normal to have to pay the costs To send it away,
or would the warranty normally cover such Costs.

My braille note is faulty, only had it two months and yet
I am suppo0sed to pay to send it back.

Regards, Derek
