Hi Carol,

Haven't bought mine yet, but you can get the R-09 from
http://www.edirol.co.uk. Probably not the cheapest, but when I bought my
R-01, or should I say, when Angie bought it for me for Christmas, they
delivered it on Christmas Eve, when Angie ordered it the day before. Pretty
impressive.

Incidentally, there is another kind of review of it from Gary O'Donahue,
which you can find at http://www.mosenexplosion.com. Gary has a bit of a
downer on it for the most part I think, but if you accept it for what it is,
an immediate, out of the box recorder with no mics or wires to connect, then
I think it sounds a great little machine, and I will definitely buy one in
the next few weeks.

All the best

It's only plugged into the PC if you choose to transfer files that way . .
.. It's very portable - the size of a razor is given as an example. It's
an "out and about", "record now and quickly" type machine!
