Hi listers,

I like the Daisy player for textbooks.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Pele et al

My favourite features are using it as an out-and-out note-taker say at
university, and the Media Player, which I think is quite good. I never, or
very seldom, use the Internet. The database is very limited, but it does
the job for simple projects. I love the Braille keyboard on it though, and
that was what swung it for me over the Apex, also a nice machine.

I have just started my BA Honours in Journalism part-time at the University
of Ulster, and will need at some point to go to court and council meetings
to report. I won't feel so uncomfortable hammering away on it as I would on
other machines.

Each to their own I guess. I'm looking forward to the new release whenever
they decide the UK is entitled to have it!

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi Jackie and Everyone

I mainly use the Braillesense on the internet for listening to radio
streams. It can be a bit slow to load pages but it is ok once it gets
there.

I also use it for looking up sports results.

But the PC is best for serious browsing.
