No Wi Fi on the Alva 640, but it does have Bluetooth.

It is light, and has its own carry case.
The notes are saved to one of the on-board flash drives, so you transfer the
files simply by looking at the drive through "my computer" and internet
explorer they can be saved to your PC or Mac.

Thanks David. I am not really surewhat I am after at the moment. I
know I want something very light, must have wi-fi and bluetooth but as
I know so little about them at present I will keep reading. I like the
sound of your Perkins type keys. I would like to input in braille and
read back some information in dots instead of listening to a voice all
the time. I have a laptop, desktop and iPad 2.

Thanks once again for feedback.

Regards

Mary
