Subject: [access-uk] Banking card readers

Hi All

I've just been onto the Natwest website to do some online banking and have
discovered that in order to add a new payee, you now require one of these
infamous card readers.

I subsequently phoned the online help desk and explained that I haven't
received one of these card readers yet.
I also told them that I was registered blind and would require a talking
model, adding that although I heard that they existed, no one had actually
seen a talking version yet. He assured me that they did indeed exist and
after he had gone away for a few minutes he came back and said I would
receive one in the post within the next few days.

Will be interesting to see if it does indeed talk.

So has anyone out there already got a talking card reader from their bank?

Darren.
