Anyone on this list using a Mac with Tiger? If I had the dosh right now Andrew, I'd be trying the Mac Mini too! I do not know the answer to your question as such, but I think the speed of the Mac Mini for running Tiger and the screen reader should not be an issue. I say this because lots of audio types are using the Mini to hoste multi-track audio appsso, presumably, speed and RAM are not an issue - if you go for the 512 RAM capacity that is. Also I've seen articles aimed at DIY upgrades of the Mini, although the case is pretty effectively sealed, it can be prized open with a decorating knife, apparantly, and so invalidating the warantee! The Tiger screen reader hasn't met with uncritical acclaim, but I think Apple are committed enough for ongoing work to be continued. Any thoughts and experience of anyone here with that would be read with interest here. Hi, Was thinking of getting a Mac Mini or something else to use Tiger. Atm the Mac Mini is appealing because it is cheap and can use my existing equipment (though I will need to use a wired keyboard/mouse probably), whereas I don't have the room for a Imac or anything else. What are people's opinions? Is the Mac Mini fast enough to run Tiger/Screen Access successfully? Thanks. Andrew.
