[access-uk] AVG8 Installation Problem

Hello,
I have downloaded the trial version of the AVG 8 Internet Security suite. The installation got so far, then stuck on a window which said: "Installing Directory Scripts, creating directory". There it stayed for an hour and a quarter, so I closed the installation down and restarted the computer. Should I have been more patient? There was no indication that anything was happening. 

Running Windows XP.
