Hi Andy,

Actually, this is nothing to do with it.  If you connect your digibox to
your recorder via the Scart socket, instead of down the RF aerial lead, you
will get Stereo.  If you are recording down the aerial wire, you will get
mono.

Hi Ian.

Not sure about Sky Plus, but I'm able to record, for example, a Channel 5
movie with AD, using my standard digibox.  What I'm not able to do however,
is get the nicam stereo  quality sound.  Incidentally, I telephoned the shop
that sold me the DVD Player/Recorder and told them that the Nicam was being
recorded as a simple left and right channel, and I was told that my player
has in-built copywrite protection.
