About Dome Group
Dome Group, set up through pooled resources of two of the most
experienced and successful corporates in the financial services space
in Turkey, is an independent merchant bank focusing on advisory and
asset management services in Turkey and emerging markets. Advisory
services of Dome Group focus on corporate and sponsor-driven M&A,
divestitures, privatizations, restructurings and private placements.
Asset management arm focuses on capturing capital flows between
developed and emerging markets, and principally deploying junior debt
and minority equity capital in a variety of situations.
Dome Group Istanbul office is offering a summer internship position
for ambitious students who want to pursue careers in corporate
finance, merger & acquisitions, restructuring and financing.
On a continuous and rolling basis, we are seeking excellent students
who are having their degrees in finance/ business / economics and
close to finishing their undergraduate / master’s degree. A lean team
structure will give candidates significant exposure both within the
Group and in client facing situations, as well as ability to assume a
high level of responsibility.
Typical responsibilities of the Intern will include, but will not be limited to
• Assisting team members in preparation of client presentations,
valuation reports, financial analysis, model building
• Preparing detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Research & analysis (markets, industry dynamics, market players)
• Preparation of client presentations
• Other ad-hoc requests as required
What we expect:
• An ambitious senior student at their final year of education
(undergrad or master’s degree)
• Ideally having an internship experience in corporate finance,
investment baking or private equity
• Excellent analytical and technical ability
• Able to source and analyse information critically
• Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability and comfort to
communicate with very senior professionals
• Commercially minded and willingness to work in an unstructured work
environment
• Willing to take on high level of responsibility, take initiative and
work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player and a positive attitude to work in a tightly knit,
collegiate setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and
Turkish; additional languages are a plus
