Friend Jay,

All this is terribly exciting. What I'm not at all clear about is just why
the Torah scroll has to be placed with one of the area synagogues when the
Havurah already has a lovely and very usable portable ark of its own. Is
insurance coverage an issue? If so, would that be the only one?

As you and your family drive through the Smokies to drop the boys off at
camp, have a marvelous and safe time. Come back fully refreshed.

Nesi'ah tovah and Shabbat Shalom.

Eric
