May be I can automate this too, but only if outputs patch will be
accepted. Don't think that midi program change is so difficult to
implement :)
That would of course be most welcome! I think the challenge has not
primarily been the actual implementation, but agreeing on how banks are
selected. They are not numbered at the moment, which they would need to
be in order for a bank or program message to be meaningful.
I think one of the proposals was to enforce a three digit number at the
start of every bank name, and then let program messages select patches
from that bank, though there is currently more than 128 patches in one
bank so some patches would not be accessible via MIDI. I don't remember
all the details though. Will and others may have more insight on this.
