I'd stick with Triangle if it is pointy on top. I would use Sawtooth if the
wave ramps up then has a vertical drip. Is the Power wave really an

Sounds like you might need pix with labels in the user guide....
Today I checked with a real (analog CRT) oscilloscope. 'Power' is definitely a
classic linear sawtooth waveform. 'Triangle' is flat topped, and and 'Saw' is a
sharp topped triangle. 'Pulse' looks like a classic square wave with a slight
rounding on the leading edges, and 'Square' looks exactly as shown in the
waveform, so I've no idea what we would call this if we changed 'Pulse' as well.
What is interesting is that LFO shapes are exactly what you'd expect -
including LFO square. There is a difference between R.up/dn (linear - saw?) and
E1/2dn (exponential).
In case anyone is not aware of it, for all LFO shapes, 100% modulation is
*half* the control setting. Max on the control gives re-entrant shapes so
triangle just doubles the frequency, ramp up becomes ramp up, glitch, ramp
down. etc.
