Jeez, that seems to be something you'd want enabled by default.
Anyway, noticed yesterday that an update to cmake came in, Debian Sid.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
If you compile ncurses from source you have to add the '--enable-pc-files'
switch at configure time, otherwise these files are not created.
The latest 'master' uses these via pkg-config to ensure ncurses has been
installed.
