I did catch several people taking photos (out of the corner of my eye) so if I
see any pictures put up. I'll let people know.
I scanned Nick Batt's SonicState Youtube channel since I was kind-of hoping
he'd do a little interview with you as well, but I guess that didn't happen?
I think I'm far too small fry and niche :)
Synthfest appears to establish itself as a UK counterpart to the german
"Superbooth" that I enjoyed very much in May this year. I start to like those
"smallish" events more than big ones like Frankfurt Musikmesse which has
degraded a *lot* in my view during the last 3-5 years.
Synthfest has quickly made it's mark and settled as *the* synth event for the
UK. The big companies that now also run stands there have recognised that they
need to send real experts on their kit, not just sales people. They *will* be
asked complex questions... persistently :)
I'm not at all sure what I'll do next year. Although I enjoy the event, I'm
running the stand by myself (there don't seem to be any UK Yoshimi-ers) which
means I don't get the chance to drool over all the other kit, nor to attend
any of the talks.
On top of that, I've already ruled out going to LAC 2019 - the amount of air
travel would be way too much for me. It's a shame as it's a significant year :(
