please excuse the delayed response -- had just too much to care for, but
this week it's somewhat better. Anyway, thanks for the detailed explanation
and the pointers; it makes much more sense this way. I wasn't aware of
the details, just saw that yoshimi used some kind of buffering, which
is basically what you'd expect....
