Crumar ControllerFirst of all, with "Yoshimi->Settings->MIDI->Log Incoming Events" checked, what
The Crumar Mojo XT “Hammond B3 Clone” is actually a MIDI-controller plus
a vb3-2 Hammond clone sofware. A Windows computer is built inside. FYI:
The “Viscount Legend B3 Clone” would be an alternate double midi keyboard.
Here the Crumar is used only as a MIDI controller for a Yoshimi v. 1.5
synth in HP Envy laptop.

This assembly works fine. Had to re-midi-learn all the Yoshimi to match
Crumar midi CC’s. Midi codes inside Crumar are not programmable.
A small glitch unfortunately:
Midi-Learned all the drawbars an potentiometers in Crumar to Yoshimi.
But could not midi-learn Crumar push-buttons midi CC’s. The button's
midi-codes from Crumar are exactly of same type as the midi-codes from
drawbars and potentiometers, but could not be midi-learned in Yoshimi.
WHY? Please, let me learn?
Well,
this Yoshimi-organ is fully playable, and sounds better than Crumar
Hammond Clone itself. But could not midi-learn Hammond style percussion
buttons and the Hammond style Phaser/Chorus knob. Instead, used Crumar
additional potentiometers to do the jobs.
does Yoshimi think you are sending with those switches? Indeed, does it see
them at all?
Secondly, what actual controls are you trying to learn? Not all of the switches
are available.
The Crumar switches are sending similar CC's as do the Crumar drawbar
slides for instance.
Manual by Godfrey says:
'If aYoshimicontrol is not MIDI-learnable, a message pop-up will
indicate that it is not learnable'
The 'not learable pop up windows' is not appearing. Tried to learn
Crumar swithes to all types of Yoshimi slides and knobs. No luck.
Nothing happens. No pop up windows are appearing.
Should Crumar swiches be midi-learned to Yoshimi switches but not to
Yoshimi slides or pots? Are there switches on Yoshimi GUI?
Switches (checkboxes) are learnable if they have a blue surround.
Menu selectors are learnable if the arrow has a blue surround.
Yoshimi does a conversion for switches, controls etc to intelligently match
ranges.
I've just double checked learning the part pan control to a sustain pedal
(CC64) and it works perfectly. There must be something strange with what the
Crumar is sending. Are you sure it is actually sending them?
