Raspbian (the 'default' OS for the RaspberryPi has version 1.2.4 of

I think they would have to be mixed in the analog realm. You'd never be able to
sync the audio otherwise.
 
I've been trying to compile 1.5 on the zero itself  and keep hitting a
few problems. I have however found this;

which I will use to check dependencies etc.  
What version of gcc is that? With some of the middle-aged ones you have to
specifically tell it to use C++ 11. This is now an essential requirement.
Touch-wood, I've not needed anything outside the dependecies we list in the
Yoshi tarball, but I'be never tried doing it on ARM.  
Its (I believe) pretty much up to date Debian so should be 11  - ccmake 
seems hellbent on making it X86 at the moment (I'm really old school so 
havent got into the working of ccmake yet and I cant remember what I did 
last time to get a lot further. I'm being masochistic doing it on the 
pi-zero but its a fascinating toy.

In the current 'master' there is a 'NEON' buildoption you should set.
