Instead of testing whether a file/directory is writeable in advance of a
change, yoshimi now checks to see if a change was successful after the attempt
but before updating the bank structure.
I've checked all the combinations I can think of on both an older machine
(that didn't have any problem) and the one with the new 'testing' install. Both
seem to behave identically now.
