Dear YESS community,

I would hereby like to put forth my candidacy to continue in the YESS
Executive Team for another year. I have been working together with my team
mates on the Community Forum, the sessions around and at the ESP Europe
Conference, the working groups on Capacity and Training as well as the
extension of our outreach in Latin America, Asia and Africa and would like
to continue advancing this agenda for another year with your support!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the General Assembly in November!

Dear member of YESS, we hope you are fine.

We are writing you today to start the *nomination process for the new
Executive Team 2022*.

The Executive Team (ET) can have a minimum of two and up to five members.
Some of the activities of the ET are: general coordination and
administration tasks (e.g., memberships, communication, updating,
responding emails); supporting YESS members and activities; discussing and
exploring new YESS activities, among others. ET members are elected* for
one year*. The new ET will also benefit from a comprehensive Handbook to
help them in their future work.

You can nominate yourself as a candidate for the Executive Team. We ask
candidates to write a *short statement of their motivation* for the task
together with* their vision* for the development of YESS and *send it via
the mailing list* (yess@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) to the whole YESS network.

The nomination process will be open from today until *31 October 2021*.
If there are more than five nominations, we will organize an online
election.

We will also organize an *online YESS General Assembly after the
nomination period*, in the week *15-19 November*. The exact date and time
and details on how to participate, together with an Agenda, will be sent
soon. All YESS members are encouraged to participate. In this General
Assembly, the current Executive Team will report on the activities during
the past year. It is also an opportunity for members to ask questions and
for Executive Team candidates to detail their reasons for nominating
themselves.
