Dear YESSers,
Over the years, our community has grown to become a large and diverse group
of early-career researchers and practitioners from almost 100 countries.
This is very exciting because we now have more opportunities than ever to
interact with each other! But we must also acknowledge that, currently, a
lot of these opportunities may be missed. For instance:

Many of us may be working on similar topics and could benefit from
exchanging ideas, but may not know about each other,
-
Some have a great idea for an article, a session at an event or a
research project and are looking for collaborators, but don't want to
write to the whole YESS mailing list directly,
-
Others have a methodological question and are looking for advice from
peers who have worked on something similar.
These are only a few reasons why it is so important to facilitate
interactions among us YESSers. As a first and vital step towards increased
and meaningful exchanges, we will be holding our first Community Conference
on May 6th/7th! The goal of the conference is to kickstart this new dynamic
with inspiring talks (6th May) and a chance to meet your peers (7th May).
This 2 half days event will be held fully online and will be free of charge!
